The International Science Project Competition is organised by INTOC Global, an educational organisation based in Turkey. The period of competition is from 29 May to 5 June 2021 online.
The aims of INTOC Global are:
• To engage students in tackling the difficult scientific problems of the future
• To engage students to use their imagination and creativity to generate new explanations of how the world works
• To share science moments with people who have devoted their lives to science
The Covid-19 pandemic obliges us to the need to draw frameworks in education. The INTOC Global organisation focusses on developing online courses and competitions. This enabled people to maintain their social connections while at home.
The ISPC is divided into 5 categories:
• Physics and Engineering
• Mathematics
• Applied Life Sciences
• Environmental Sciences
• Social Sciences
Participants will carry out their own research and submit an abstract, report and a video for the competition. Shortlisted projects will present them to a panel of judges for 8 minutes over a zoom meeting followed by a short question and answer session by at least three judges.
The competition emphasises on the following qualities:
• Ethical Researcher
• Truthfulness
• Scientific Research Does Not Harm
• Responsibility to Produce Useful Information for Humanity
• Presentation Made by the Students Who Work Actively in the Project
• Avoid Ethical Violations
• Referencing
