The 15th International Science Youth Forum (ISYF 2023) was organised by Hwa Chong Institution, with support from the Ministry of Education, Singapore. Top science students from premier schools, both local and international, participated in this Forum from 15 to 19 January 2023.
ISYF aims to create a high-profile platform for budding science talents and science educators to network with one another and to interact with Nobel Laureates and/or eminent scientists.
The theme of ISYF 2023, “Reconnecting, Reimagining: Looking Ahead to a Better World”, aims to nurture a united and cohesive community of inspired, passionate and global-minded scientific leaders. The programme consisted of the following:
(a) Master classes by Nobel Laureates and eminent scientists
(b) Collaborative team project, in which they worked with each other to solve a problem.
(c) Research Poster Presentation
(d) Learning Journeys
(e) Educators programme
SST is represented by the following students: Alyssa Tan Huey Yi, Ridha Fathima Nowshad, Nicole Sim Rui Shi
