Indonesia International Applied Science Project Olympiad 2020

The Indonesia International Applied Sciennce Project Olympiad (I2ASPO) is organised by the Indonesia Young Scientist Association (IYSA). The overarching aim of the competition is to "Think Creative, Big Impact".

Its intention is to:
* challenge students to create a work which is beneficial to people.
* challenge students to create an outstanding work according to a selected theme with a low budget.
* encourage students to be concerned about world problems and to develop the solutions. 

The themes for 2020 which students can choose to work on are:
1. Covid-19
2. Waste treatment
3. Disability aids
4. Renewable Energy
5. Entrepreneur
6. Innovative social science
7. Applied physic and engineering
8. Environmental science
9. IT and Robotic
10. Applied life science

SST submitted two teams and each achieved a Silver Award:

Development of an air sanitation system
Wu Wanghong, Tay Yujie, Waiz Zul’Mateen, Aiman Sufian

 

Development of a prototype which optimises the growth of vigna radiata
Karthikeyan Aakarsha Kannan, Kitti-Ampon Chia De En, Koo Hong Bin, Don
