Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad 2022

The SJPO is organised by the Institute of Physics, Singapore (IPS) with support from the Ministry of

Education (MOE). The year 2022 marks the 15th edition of the Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad (SJPO).

The SJPO is a competition for secondary school students, aimed at encouraging the study and appreciation of physics beyond the school curriculum. This annual competition provides opportunities for students to solve novel physics problems that require critical and inventive thinking.

There are 2 rounds to the competition:
(a) SJPO (Individual Round): 24 May 2022 (Tuesday)  
(b) SJPO (Team Round) also known as “SPhL (Junior)”: 11 June 2022 (Saturday)
