Organised by the Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA), the ISIF is an annual competition catered to develop the following objectives:
1. To develop the creativity spirit through innovation competitions
2. To develop the scientific research skills through a science fair
3. To provide opportunities for interaction through innovation and invention experiences
amongst students around the world.
The competition is open to elementary, secondary, and university students, each team consisting of a maximum of 5 students. Students are required to present their project and answer questions.
